Copy connection log

When joining a server doesn't work, the console often only shows a short error (like "Door", "Terracotta" or "Unable to connect to world") and the app keeps showing Stop, as if everything were fine. The real reason is written down in the connection log inside the app. Our support team can read it and tell you what went wrong.

How to copy it

  1. Try to join the server first, so the problem is in the log.
  2. Open the Settings tab in the app.
  3. Tap Community & Support.
  4. Tap Copy connection log ("Copy the log of your last connections and send it to support on Discord.").
  5. The app shows "Log copied. Paste it into Discord." The log is now on your phone's clipboard.
tip

The log button is in the Settings tab, not in the Help tab.

How to send it

  1. Open our Discord and open a support ticket.
  2. Paste the log into the ticket (long-press the message box → Paste).
  3. Write a few words: which server, which console (Xbox, PlayStation or Switch) and what error you saw.

Don't worry if the log is long: Discord turns a long paste into a file called message.txt by itself. That's fine — just send it.

What is in the log

  • The first line shows your app version, for example BedrockConnect v4.0.83.
  • Technical lines about your last connections: which server the app talked to, which way it used to connect and what went wrong.
  • If nothing was logged yet, it says (no log lines yet). Then try to join the server again and copy the log once more.
Only send it to BedrockConnect support

Passwords and secret keys are hidden in the log, but it still contains server addresses and network details. Only paste it into your BedrockConnect support ticket on Discord — never into a public channel, and never send it to strangers who ask for it.

Installation ID

Sometimes support also asks for your installation ID. This number identifies your copy of the app.

  1. Open the Settings tab and scroll all the way down.
  2. Long-press the version line (for example BedrockConnect v4.0.83, with the protocol line under it).
  3. The app shows "Installation ID copied: …". Paste it into your ticket.

If it says "Installation ID unavailable", just send the connection log — that's enough.
