The BedrockConnect app is designed exclusively for the use of Resource Packs / Texture Packs. Other types of modifications, such as shaders, modpacks, skin packs, etc., are not supported.
If you encounter issues with a pack involving special UI modifications, please refer to our for assistance.
Start by acquiring the Minecraft Classic Pack for free from the Marketplace. Navigate to the Marketplace, search for "Minecraft Classic", acquire it for free, and download it.
Go to your Realm, select your preferred world, and navigate to the "Resource Packs". Here, search for and activate the "Minecraft Classic Pack".
Leave the world, go to the main menu settings, and there to "Global Resources". Find the "Minecraft Classic Pack", activate it, press the green checkmark, and then choose "delete".
Completely restart Minecraft. Change nothing. Close the game and start it anew. This is a crucial step in the process.
Go to your friends list, join the local server displayed, and download the serverpack. Now join your configured Realm server. If Minecraft prompts you to download the Minecraft Classic Pack, just do it. It's part of the process! It should work!
It's possible for your friend to join your world with a different pack, provided they have also completed the necessary BedrockConnect step to add the resource pack. The pack is stored as a server pack in the cache.
You can change the resource pack at any time, but you only need to remove the Resource Pack from your server pack cache.
You can find detailed instructions on this in the app. After adding your pack, select "Single Player" from the "Custom" list and start the process.
