🍏[IOS] Local Network

Enabling "Local Network" for BedrockConnect on iOS

  1. Open iOS Settings: Go to the home screen of your iOS device and open the Settings app.

  2. Locate the BedrockConnect App: Scroll down in the Settings menu until you find the list of installed apps. Look for BedrockConnect and tap on it.

  3. Change Network Settings: In the BedrockConnect app settings, there should be an option for "Local Network". If this option is turned off (no green slider), tap it to enable it.

  4. Confirm the Change: Once "Local Network" is enabled, BedrockConnect should be able to communicate with other devices on your local network.

  5. Restart the BedrockConnect App: Completely close the BedrockConnect app (swipe it away in the app overview) and start it again. The app should now be able to access the local network.

  6. Check the Connection: Launch BedrockConnect and try to perform the desired action again to see if the connection is now working.

Important Notes:

  • Ensure that your iOS device and the device you are trying to connect to are on the same Wi-Fi network.

  • If you continue to experience connection problems, check if other network settings or firewall settings might be interfering with the communication.
