# \[IOS] Local Network

### Enabling "Local Network" for BedrockConnect on iOS

1. **Open iOS Settings**: Go to the home screen of your iOS device and open the Settings app.
2. **Locate the BedrockConnect App**: Scroll down in the Settings menu until you find the list of installed apps. Look for BedrockConnect and tap on it.
3. **Change Network Settings**: In the BedrockConnect app settings, there should be an option for "Local Network". If this option is turned off (no green slider), tap it to enable it.
4. **Confirm the Change**: Once "Local Network" is enabled, BedrockConnect should be able to communicate with other devices on your local network.
5. **Restart the BedrockConnect App**: Completely close the BedrockConnect app (swipe it away in the app overview) and start it again. The app should now be able to access the local network.
6. **Check the Connection**: Launch BedrockConnect and try to perform the desired action again to see if the connection is now working.

#### Important Notes:

* Ensure that your iOS device and the device you are trying to connect to are on the same Wi-Fi network.
* If you continue to experience connection problems, check if other network settings or firewall settings might be interfering with the communication.
